Autumn Academy

The seminars are also open to English-speaking participants. The supporting programme will be predominantly in German.

With the concepts of urban commons and caring cities, the Autumn Academy is dedicated to current questions of urban development: What solutions are there for a housing and land policy geared towards the common good? How can the current housing stock be repurposed? What urban care infrastructures do we need? And how can care work be communalised? The aim is to develop approaches for a socially, ecologically and economically just city from a transdisciplinary perspective under the leitmotif of City / Care / Commons.

– Learning from das Neue Frankfurt for the future, in the combination of science, urban politics, administration and civil society.

– Research-based learning in a morning seminar structure with selected mentors. The supporting programme includes excursions, visits to exhibitions and evening events.

Mentors

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Paola Alfaro – d’Alençon, Prof. Dr Gabu Heindl, Prof. Folke Köbberling, Prof. Dr Elke Krasny, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Renée Tribble
